The medical spa is a fairly new phenomenon. The first medical spa in the United States reportedly opened

its doors sometime in the late '80s. Nearly two decades later, medical spas have seen enormous growth,

both in sheer numbers and popularity.

 

In the Philippines, this type of business is still in its infancy stage. Typically, skin care services are combined

with aesthetic surgical services. Some day spas provide additional skin care services in their menu but do

not have the availability of a qualified physician to monitor these treatments.

 

We at The Asian Tropics saw the need to provide a complete aesthetic and wellness center where people

can just come and get the treatments and relaxation they want in one location.
